Sourdough Discard Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 stick (8 tbsp) grass-fed butter (room temp)

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 cup sourdough discard

  • 1 egg

  • splash of vanilla

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • pinch of salt

  • chocolate chips (measured with love)

    METHOD:

  • Cream together your butter and sugar.

  • Mix in your discard, egg & vanilla until just combined.

  • Add in the rest of your ingredients except for your chocolate chips and mix until it forms a dough. Don’t over mix!

  • Fold in your chocolate chips.

  • Cover and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or until you’re ready to bake.

  • Bake your cookies at 350° for 13 minutes and ENJOY
